Q. Do you have to be a P@SHA member to apply for the awards?

 

No! HBL P@SHA ICT Awards are open for all. However, you are most welcome to join us as a member.

Q. What kind of application can be submitted?

 

Only technology products (not services) can be submitted for the awards. There is a separate category called "Services" that accepts different applications.

Q. What are the different categories to apply?
 

There are a total of 10 categories apart from several sub-categories. There are 5 Head Categories (Consumer, Inclusion & Community, Industrial, Public Sector and Business Services), 1 Student category, and 1 Services category. Other than that, there are 2 more categories (Technology & Cross-categories) which can only be applied in through one of the 5 Head Categories.

 

We have recently included an exciting category named ‘Game of the Year’.
 

Please note that nominations in the student category also have to only be REFERRED to one of the 5 Head Categories.
 

Q. How much ownership of the product is required by the applicant?

 

The applicant should have at least 51% shareholding of the product.

Q. Who can apply for the HBL P@SHA ICT Awards?

The applications are open within Pakistan for everyone with an innovative technology-based idea. Bigger companies, startups, freelancers, consultants, and students, can all participate in their relevant categories provided they have the major shareholding of the product.

Q. Is it possible to apply in multiple categories?

One product can be applied ONLY in ONE of the sub-categories of 5 Head categories (also mentioned below). They can also be submitted in one of the sub-categories of Technology and/or Cross-Categories. A separate section for the application to Technology and/or Cross-Categories will appear at the end of each application form upon selecting them.

Q. Where and when will the HBL P@SHA ICT Awards 2024 be held?

HBL P@SHA ICT Awards 2024 will be held in Islamabad this year. The date and venue for the event will be announced soon. 

Q. What is the procedure to get the HBL P@SHA ICT Award?
 

HBL P@SHA ICT Awards are awarded to the winners and runner-ups from the participants who compete in the provided categories by presenting their product. 

Q. How do I apply for the HBL P@SHA ICT Awards?
 

Please go to the Homepage > Categories OR Click on the APPLY NOW button and select your relevant category. There are 5 Head categories (Consumer, Inclusion & Community, Industrial, Public Sector and Business Services), 1 Student category and 1 Services category. 

The 5 Head Categories and Student Category together make 6 Product Categories. Only products/solutions can be nominated in them. Services can ONLY be nominated in the Services Category. Please note that nominations in the student category have to only be REFERRED to one of the 5 Head Categories.

 

Upon selecting your category, please carefully go through the sub-categories offered in each Main Category and select the ones you believe represent your idea best. Click on the sub-category you have selected to fill out the application form.

Optionally and if eligible, applications in the Head categories can also be submitted in one of the Technology AND/OR Cross-Categories

Please fill out the form comprehensively to ensure your selection for the presentation and attach a supporting document via Google Drive link where required. Please make sure the link is accessible by awards@pasha.org.pk

 

Click Submit when finished.

Q. How can I apply in the Technology Category or Cross-Categories?

You can apply in the Technology/Cross Categories ONLY through one of the Head Categories' forms.

Q. Can the Students' projects apply in the Technology or Cross-Categories?

No, the nominations in the Student category can only be referred to as one of the 5 Head Categories.

 

Q. How will I know my application has been received?
 

The applicant will receive a confirmation email for each successful submission. Please note that this confirmation email does not ensure your selection for the presentation.

Q. How will I be informed about my selection for the presentation?
 

All selected candidates will receive selection emails with the presentation details once the initial screening process is complete. 

Q. What will be the date and venue of presentations?
 

The presentations will tentatively commence end of September, 2024. The venue & dates for the presentations will be announced soon.

Q. How can I stay informed on the Awards related updates?
 

For Awards’ updates, please follow P@SHA’s Social Media. Applicants will also be emailed about all developments on the Awards. P@SHA’s Social Media links are mentioned below in the footer.
